Hello friends!
This week has been crazy but fun. I went snowboarding on monday for the first time in years....it was really fun. Getting off the ski-lift was definently the hardest part of the whole trip, I couldn't get off it without falling. Other than that I think I did pretty well. The rest of the week was spent doing homework and watching lost...yay!
An ice-sculpture of the temple

Lara.....my FHE sister.....she practically lives at my apartment....I luv her

Okay story time! So last night Kirby Hayborne was performing here in town (We couldn't get tickets) so before the show he was at the bookstore signing autographs and stuff. The line wasn't really that long but we still had to wait for almost two hours! He would stop and talk to each person in line for a long time before he would sign their stuff. Anyways here are pictures:

He sang for us :)

He talked to us for a long time about his show and how he's glad he was able to help us make friends by making us stand in line for so long.

Yay! We love him.

Stapp's Ironical Paradox

A few interesting facts about Stapps (that sorta rhymed...lol):

"The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle."
-Colonel John Paul Stapp, a pioneer in studying the effects of acceleration and deceleration forces on humans. He was pretty amazing....check him out.

Elbert "Babe" Stapp was an American racecar driver in the 1920's and 1930's. Stapp's finishes from 1927 – 1938 rank as the worst ten-race finishing streak in Indy 500 history.

"Walking behind the Stapp family brings good luck while fishing."
-An old Chinese proverb by Rachel Stapp

Why did I ever decide to be an art major? It's so hard, stressful, and time consuming....but I love it. Today my plans are: Take pictures in the freezing cold, then try and come up with 60 more designs for a logo for a desert/reptile/art exhibit, and then study all night for my art history test....and I'm so excited! I just have to keep reminding myslef that even if I don't get it all perfect, it's all about personal growth.....not the grade.....even though good grades do help ;)

My Boot. A Low Key assignment.

Kay, so this was taken a few days ago....so there is a lot more snow now. Now it's higher than the railing. Imagine trying to climb up those stairs before they shovel them...on sunday.....in church dress....not fun.

My outfit for an 80's date! The D.I. is amazing :)
