Freedom

My cast is gone! They used this really cool saw that cut right through the cast but didn't even hurt me! And when they asked me if I wanted to keep it I nearly fainted......of course I don't want to keep it! It was the most tortuouse(sp?) thing I have ever had to deal with. And now I'm in a walking cast that I can remove so I can shower, drive, or even swim! I'm so happy.........oh yah, and my foot is straight to! Now people won't be like, "What's wrong with your foot?" all the time. They'll be like, "Oh my gosh, what lovely feet you have Rachel!" It will be so nice.

Gggrrrness

Pretty much that is my dream.
Goodness Graciouse. Today I thought I would finally be released from this awful thing that has been attached to my foot for almost two weeks. It is like wearing two thick socks and a heavy boot. It's been hurting real bad all week and we figured, since I'm getting it off on monday anyway (Yipee!) the doctor would decide to take it off a few days early. But no, instead they cut it open, stuffed some more cotton in and closed it up again. ARGH! why me? Oh well, I got to ride in one of those cool scooter things today at Bel Air. It was pretty sweet. Anyway, School: I registered for classes yesterday, I'm soooooo excited. School is gonna be so much fun :)

This is my cast. Pretty isn't it? I think so. As you can see, my friends and I had tons of fun decorating it the other night while playing Guitar Hero and Karaoke Revolution: two of the most a-mazing games ever invented.
The next three weeks are not going to be fun with this cast on. It feels so heavy and tight on my foot. Last night my foot was itching soooooo bad and there was nothing I could do about it. At least it's cute.
I just had a bowl of the most amazing Ice-Cream ever. Okay it was just vanilla with chocolate syrup, but along with a long nap and tons of Harry Potter, Ice-cream just makes my day.

Today.

Today I looked at my new foot for the first time. It was pretty disgusting but, it looks better than it did. I only got to spend a few minutes with it though before they covered it in gauze and bright pink plaster. I have to wait three more weeks till I see my beloved foot again. But I think it will be worth it....don't you? Anyway, right now I'm listening to the Carpentors. Kinda wierd, the song that plaing is It's Yesterday Once More and this post is titled Today. Freaky.
